WEalth management advisor
Kyle is a Wealth Management Advisor at Godsey & Gibb Wealth Management. With a background in both accounting and financial planning, Kyle helps individuals and families align their investment strategies with their broader financial goals, life stage, and values. His approach is both relationship-driven, taking time to understand each client’s unique priorities, and analytical, with a particular focus on how investment and tax strategies intersect to support optimal long-term outcomes.
With over ten years of experience in the financial services industry, Kyle brings a deep understanding of how all areas of a client’s financial life work together. As a former Certified Public Accountant (CPA), he is particularly focused on areas like tax-efficient portfolio construction, retirement income strategies, and distribution strategies. Additionally, as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, he routinely incorporates comprehensive financial planning concepts into his conversations with clients to help them align their goals with their financial strategy. This includes understanding how estate planning, retirement goals, insurance needs, and philanthropic priorities contribute to or impact their overall strategy.
Kyle joined Godsey & Gibb in 2019 after several years in public accounting and financial services. He began his career as an auditor focused on reviewing corporate financial statements to assess risk and financial vulnerabilities. This experience enhanced his ability to navigate complex financial situations for high-net-worth individuals. Prior to joining Godsey & Gibb, Kyle gained experience with a local wealth management firm providing tailored financial advice to individuals and families.
Kyle earned both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Accounting from Clemson University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, holds his FINRA Series 65 license, and previously held a FINRA Series 7 license as well as a CPA designation.
Outside of the office, Kyle enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelly, their three young children, and their dog, Tux. As an avid sports fan, he enjoys playing basketball and golf as well as rooting for the Clemson Tigers and Green Bay Packers. His family attends Grace Church, where he is actively involved by serving in student ministry.
