Kevin is a Wealth Management Advisor at Godsey & Gibb Wealth Management. As an advisor, he focuses on developing investment strategies that align with his clients’ long-term goals and offering guidance that evolves as their lives and priorities change. His approach is rooted in relationship-building, and he believes in earning trust by listening first and taking the time to understand each individual or family’s values and objectives. With an emphasis on clear communication and ongoing dialogue, Kevin tailors each conversation to his client’s needs, helping them build understanding and confidence in their financial lives.
With over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Kevin brings a depth of knowledge across retirement planning, wealth preservation, and legacy planning. He specializes in helping clients prepare for and enjoy retirement while structuring their wealth to support future generations or philanthropic endeavors. In addition, Kevin’s strengths lie in both his technical expertise as well as his calm and steady presence and genuine passion for serving others.
Kevin spent the first two decades of his career at an international brokerage firm, where he began his career as a Financial Consultant and later served as Vice President and Branch Manager across four offices. In these roles, Kevin focused on advising individuals, families, and small business owners on their finances as well as managing his team and ensuring they maintained a client-first approach. He went on to serve as Director of Wealth Management at a nationwide insurance firm in their wealth management division before joining Godsey & Gibb in 2015.
Kevin earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Florida State University. He currently holds a FINRA Series 65 license and has previously held FINRA Series 7, 8, and 63 licenses through past roles.
Outside of work, Kevin enjoys golf, biking, traveling, and spending time with his family. He has been happily married to his wife, Miclyn, for over 30 years with whom he shares two adult children, Charlotte and Andrew, as well as a young granddaughter. In addition, he is a former board member of the St. Johns County Education Foundation and remains actively engaged in his community.
