At Godsey & Gibb, we respect the uniqueness of each client’s investment needs and expectations.


What does personal service mean for you? Any time you call and speak with Godsey & Gibb personnel, we will be able to supply up to date answers relating to your relationship. We have a dedicated team that is focused and prepared to assist with questions or contingencies.

Our Operations division ensures that all accounts are balanced prior to any client reports or communications being generated. Although you will receive monthly statements from your custodian, at Godsey & Gibb we reconcile securities positions and cash balances via electronic downloads. Our systems are updated and trades are balanced on a daily basis.


What does accessibility mean to you? We meet with our clients quarterly if they wish. They are welcome to meet at our offices or at any location of their choice. Our clients have access to the firm’s founder, lead portfolio manager and research director. The ability to speak directly with the investment decision-makers is important to many of our clients.


Although our investment process is centralized, client services are delivered in multiple locations. Whether your advisor is located in our Richmond, Greenville, Columbia or Florida office, you can count on reaching out and always speaking with someone who is willing to help. Our staff is also available to answer any questions you may have in a timely manner.


Every quarter, our Investment Committee crafts a client letter that discusses in detail significant events over the last quarter, and how they directly and indirectly affect your portfolio.

Our administrative and operations team monitors the process of preparing and distributing your quarterly report package, which includes the following:

  • An appraisal illustrating the asset allocation and holdings in your portfolio
  • A letter from your advisor expressing our firm’s outlook on the current economic issues and what decisions we have made in order to meet your investment objectives
  • Our quarterly market commentary Investment Watch, written by our Director of Research, summarizing the state of the economy and related world events


A Godsey & Gibb client knows that their advisor understands their needs. A Godsey & Gibb client deals with one client administrator who will respond to or refer their requests.

What does this mean for you? A Godsey & Gibb client is comfortable knowing that they have a personal relationship with real people in one of our offices. You will never be shuffled between a variety of departments or required to navigate an automated telephone system.

All client relationships have a dedicated administrative team comprised of one advisor and a client services administrator. Your client services administrator will prepare the necessary forms and documentation, and liaise with your custodian.

This type of ongoing personal service is a hallmark of our management and our client interactions, and should be an expectation of all our clients.
