Once we have selected the appropriate investments for client accounts, we actively monitor the prospects for the securities on an on-going basis. Based on our frequent review and analysis of the relevant economic activity, the industry and company fundamentals, and the related price action, the Investment Committee at Godsey & Gibb Associates--Investment Counsel will determine if a security needs to be removed from clients’ accounts. Although we typically maintain a low annual turnover in portfolios, we believe that removing the appropriate candidates is one of the most important aspects of successful investing. Therefore, our review is active and ongoing in order to insure that only investment selections that meet our criteria for attractive quality, growth and valuation characteristics maintain a place in client portfolios.
