  At Godsey & Gibb Associates--Investment Counsel, we have a long history of providing small to mid-size companies/institutions with investment consulting services. We work with the plan trustees (decision-makers), their third party administrators (TPA's), and/or record-keepers to meet the investment management needs of the participants. We work to understand the plan Investment Policy Statement. Education and Investment Management is at the heart of our service commitment to the plan and its participants. We feel that the following factors should be considered when working with a Registered Investment Management firm, such as ours:

Complete and full transparency
— You can expect us to provide complete and full transparency. The following are ways in which you and your plan participants/employees will be able to access information on and about his/her account:

Web Access via the custodian of the assets (i.e. safe-keeper of the plan assets);
Monthly statements provided by the custodian;
Quarterly, line-item entry on his/her account statement disclosing our investment management fee.

We want our clients to be informed. We receive one fee--it is paid directly by our client, not third parties. The investment vehicles selected DO NOT pay us a penny. Keeping fees as LOW as possible at the plan, and plan participant level, is our key focus. In the spirit of full disclosure, we send a quarterly invoice to our clients. We help prospective clients understand the fees that they are currently paying. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND "LOADED" (i.e. funds with a sales charge) MUTUAL FUND SHARES. THEY ARE NO-LOAD, NO-TRANSACTION FEE MUTUAL FUNDS. Depending on the plan and the requirements per the plan document, we will offer individual stock securities. Our allegiance is to our clients.

Level of communication — We meet with the plan participants face-to-face once a year. We provide the participants with ongoing education. Quarterly, we provide each participant with our Investment Watch Letter, written by our Director of Research. We talk with the plan administrators frequently throughout the year.

Strategy in place to provide financial literacy — Education at the group and participant level. We provide an annual on-site market outlook and a face-to-face meeting with each plan participant. The goal here is to create an investor profile for each participant. We want to understand the participants risk tolerance, time-horizon, and other pertinent information prior to making an investment recommendation.

Methodology for Investment Selection — Our proprietary manager selection process looks at the following, but not limited to, factors: Risk-Adjusted Returns, Upside/Downside Market Capture, Portfolio Turnover, Fees, and Manager Tenure. We rebalance the participant's portfolio annually, as needed.

  We coordinate enrollment meetings, select the investments used, and provide individual consultations (risk assessment) to the employees of each company. When working with Plan Administrators, one of our goals is to reduce overall fees at the plan and/or participant level.
